CBT Psychotherapist & Mindfulness Teacher
I am a bilingual (Polish/English) psychotherapist and Mindfulness teacher with a background in psychology. I work with children and adults and offer face-to-face individual therapy in Manchester.
My therapeutic work history includes working for a specialist eating disorder NHS service, mental health charity, IAPT services (NHS), in an NHS specialist palliative care service and as a mindfulness teacher for the Big Life Group centres. In the past I have worked for Manchester Samaritans.
I am a member of the BPS, BACP and BABCP and adhere to their ethical framework. I am fully supervised and DBS (enhanced) checked in line with the BABCP guidelines for best practice.
How I Work
CBT for Children and Teens
Here, CBT uses age-appropriate, creative and experiential techniques to help young people understand the connections between the way they act, think and how they feel.
Mindfulness can help you address underlying causes of your suffering, be it a physical or emotional pain, and increase your tolerance and acceptance of whatever you are experiencing in any given moment.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help you make sense of overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts so that it is easier to see how these parts are connected and how they affect you.
Compassion Focussed Therapy can help you learn to feel more safe in your interactions with others and feel closer to other people. It can also help you be more kind, gentle and forgiving towards yourself.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy can help you accept the difficulties that come with life. It looks at your commitment to making changes and helps you when you get stuck.
What I Can Help You With
“I've struggled with a lot of issues over the past few years, more so recently, and hadn't before been able to find someone who I really felt could help me. I finally know I have”
